• “Operation Green hunt”:
  genocidal war launched by the Indian state against the tribal and indigenous people resisting the takeover of their mineral rich homelands by national and international mining corporations.
• National oppression:
  Negation of the right of nations to self-determination of people of Kashmir and other oppressed minorities and the brutal repression of the peoples just struggles.
• Reign of terror and intimidation;
  State sponsored assassinations and killings of popular activists as “armed encounters”, curtailment of freedom of expression and other democratic rights under retrogressive “anti-terror” laws; widespread arrests, incarceration and ill-treatment of over 100,000 political prisoners.
• Regional expansionism;
  interference and bullying against people of neighbouring countries fighting for democracy, freedom and independence.
